Last week, we had our Vacation Bible School. The Lord blessed with many willing workers; a high attendance of 174; 30 children saved; many new contacts; and on Sunday there were nearly 200 present.
READY FOR BIBLE SCHOOL!
Growing up, Vacation Bible School week was my favorite. My mother puts her whole heart into everything she does; in my opinion she is the greatest children's teacher in the whole world. Thanks to her, I loved Sunday School and VBS growing up; and today I love all the wonderful Bible stories written in God's Word, and I passionately enjoy teaching those stories to children today, and I know it is because she planted that seed in my heart when I was a child.
BEAUTIFUL MOTHER...WONDERFUL TEACHER!
You must know, then, what a great honor and privilege it is for me now to see my children sit and listen to the same teacher teach the same lessons in the exact same way as I heard them when I was their age.
Mom made VBS so much fun...the songs, the Scripture verse contest, the lesson, the visitor contest, and closing off every day with the same song: "Hallelu".... If you have never seen my mother play her accordion and lead that song to nearly 200 children, you have missed a great blessing...what fun those children had last week! I know someday those sweet children will look back and be thankful for the wonderful teacher they had, just as I do now!
I have so many pictures I took, and I want to share them all, but will limit myself to the fewest possible, to let you peek in and see for yourself what a wonderful week we had and how the Lord blessed us!

What a blessing!
Brings back some fantastic memories...I have always LOVED Mom's Bible Schools. What a good example we have had in her. I love you, and MISS you.
I've always enjoyed Bible School with your mom. How fun!! Love y'all.
I am awe-struck at how that ministry just keeps growing with each year. God's hands are definitely on your father's (and now Philip's) ministry. And, I love to see how involved each of you are... and THIRTY people in your workers picture! W@W! Thank you so much for this post, Anna.... SOOOO encouraging!
What a great turn out you all had. I love children's ministry and VBS is aways fun.
God bless your work in Mexico! I'll be back to read more!
