MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!!!I love Christmas. I love the happiness and joy that seems to be in the air. I love the Christmas carols playing in the CD player. I love counting down the days 'til Christmas with my children.
But all year 'round, there are certain things that I always enjoy, special things that always bring a smile to my face. Wanna know what they are?

That first cup of coffee in the morning
Late night talks with my husband
The memories made in the "Missionary Mansion" in Decatur, Texas
The smell of camphor trees ("alcanfor" in Spanish)...large trees which surrounded our childhood home

Big, ugly, VERY warm socks that Gwen's mother gave me! Sunshine coming through the windows to warm my little trailer! My blue "Chiapas" coffee cup full of hot coffee while I read one of my favorite blogs!
Rebecca waiting for me to finish so we can go buy groceries... well, that really isn't a favorite thing, but it is a favorite thing that my daughter loves me!

Oh there are so many favorite things!! I love when my husband walks in the door after being gone at work all day. I love my three blessings from the Lord. I love being called MOM! I love working with the deaf. I love teaching my children everyday. I love my family and friends. I love a good cup of cappucino. I love my home. But my most favorite thing is JESUS! What a wonderful Saviour! :)
Hmmm.... I don't love the early morning fog because I try not to get up early enough to see it. :-) LOL!
Let's see, I love my hubby, my kiddies (even the little cutie that has been waking me at 1am the last few nights because of coughing). I also love that morning cup of coffe and another one in the afternoon (both SMALL cups so as not to over-caffeinate that little one!)
I LOVE the memories in the Decatur mission mansion, too! And the fun Christmas last year in Forney!
